Event Window
Monday May 18, 2026 at 00:00 UTC β Monday May 25, 2026 at 00:00 UTC. One full week. Any race finishing inside this window counts.
β
Horse Eligibility (both pools)
To qualify for either pool, a racing horse must meet all of:
- Generation between G1 and G5 (inclusive). G6+ horses are excluded β this is the lapped-player league. (G0 horses don't race in this event; they're used as breeding studs/mares only.)
- The horse's breeding auction winning bid was Z10,000 or more. This is the gross bid amount β not the horse's race balance, which is 85% of the bid (the other 15% goes to fees). So a winning bid of Z10,000 produces a horse with a Z8,500 race balance. If the bid was below Z10,000, the horse will not accumulate any points and cannot win prizes.
- For horses descended from a finale G0 drop: the horse has not been transferred, and no mare in its mother chain has been transferred (see Transfer Rules below). Horses with no finale-G0 ancestry are unaffected by transfer.
π Transfer Rules (only finale G0 drops + their descendants)
Why this rule exists: the G0 horses dropped specifically for this finale event are a gift to lapped players so they can compete. We don't want someone consolidating five wallets' mares into one for a stacked breeding advantage.
Who it applies to: only the finale G0 drops and any horse descended from them. Older horses (and anything else with no finale-G0 ancestry) are freely tradeable β buy, sell, gift, transfer at will, no impact on eligibility.
The rule (inside the finale-G0 lineage):
- G0 studs are exempt β they don't race, and sending them to a stud auction is intended gameplay (anyone can bid to breed with them). Transferring a finale G0 stud does NOT cause a DQ.
- Transferring a finale G0 mare DQ's her plus any foal bred from her AFTER the transfer (recursively through her motherline). Foals bred from her before the transfer stay eligible β using up her breeding slots and then selling the empty mare is legitimate gameplay. Sons stop the chain β foals her sons sire in the stud market for OTHER players stay eligible (those went to innocent bidders, paired with non-finale mares).
- Transferring any descendant (G1βG5) in the finale-G0 lineage DQ's that descendant. If she's a mare, any post-transfer foals are also DQ'd (same time rule).
Examples:
- Get a finale G0 stud β keep it β all good. Stud-market customers' foals: eligible.
- Get a finale G0 stud β send to stud auction / transfer it β stud stays eligible (G0 studs are exempt). Stud-market customers' foals: eligible.
- Get a finale G0 mare β breed 10 foals β transfer her β the 10 pre-transfer foals stay eligible; only the mare herself is DQ'd. Legitimate "used the slots then sold" play.
- Get a finale G0 mare β transfer her to wallet B β wallet B breeds foals β those post-transfer foals are DQ'd (along with the mare). That's the laundering pattern this rule catches.
- Get a finale G0 mare β breed daughter D (kept) β transfer D β D + D's mother-chain DQ'd. The original G0 mare and her other daughters stay eligible if untransferred.
Old G0s already in circulation before the finale don't count for this rule β owners are free to do whatever with them and their lineage stays eligible.
π Pool A β Top Stables by Points (KotH-style)
Works exactly like the regular KotH quest, just filtered to eligible horses only.
- Snapshot rebuilds after every round (8 rounds per UTC day, ~every 3 hours).
- End-of-day lock-in: the 23:58 UTC round is the final snapshot β that's what counts toward your daily points.
- To earn that day's points, your horse must race in the last 3-hour window of the day with a positive balance (just like regular KotH).
- From that final window, we take only eligible horses (G1βG5 with Z10,000+ auction, no transfer) and rank them. The top 80 of that eligible-only field earn points (rank 1 = 800, rank 80 = 10).
Concrete example: in the 23:58 round, your horse is #123 overall (counting all G6+ and ineligible horses). When we strip those out, your horse is #50 among eligible G1βG5 horses β it counts as rank 50 and earns 310 pts for your stable that day.
Daily points sum across the 7 days. Top 10 stables win.
Tie-break: highest single-day total. Still tied β the prize is split equally.
β‘ Pool B β Fastest Finish Times
The single fastest finish time of any race during the event week. Each horse counts only once (its personal best). Top 10 horses win.
Same Z10,000+ winning-bid requirement as Pool A. Horses bought for under Z10k aren't eligible for either pool, no matter how fast they run.
Anti-sweep cap: a maximum of 3 finish-time slots per stable. If a stable would take a 4th slot, that horse is skipped and the next eligible horse takes the spot. Prevents one player with many fast horses from sweeping.
Tie-break: earlier race timestamp wins.
π° Prizes
See the prize columns in the tables below. Both pools pay the same curve: 1st = $200, down to 10th = $30. Total event pool: $1,500 USDC ($750 per pool).
π In addition to Q1βQ6
This event runs on top of the regular weekly Q1βQ6 quests. Both leaderboards continue as normal β Final Week is bonus money for everyone.
